JAIPUR, India | September 29, 2026 — Gaumaya and Sevyam have launched a new environmental and wellness initiative in Jaipur around the “Sangh Shatak” campaign, bringing together sustainability, cow-based rural resources, wellness initiatives and recognition of social contributors.
At the center of the campaign is “Sangh Shatak,” a book compiled by Gaumaya founder Dr. Sitaram Gupta to mark 100 years of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, or RSS.

According to the organizers, the book has been printed on what they describe as “Gomay Paper,” made using agricultural residue, indigenous cow dung and material associated with traditional havan practices.
Gaumaya has claimed that the publication is the first book of its kind in the world to be produced on such paper and that the initiative is being prepared for recognition across 11 world-record categories. Businessman and philanthropist Yogesh Mittal supported the compilation and coordination of the project, according to the organizers.
Wellness Package for Supporters of the Campaign
Raja Mukim, Director of Sevyam, said supporters and philanthropists associated with the Sangh Shatak campaign are being offered a body detoxification package at the Sevyam wellness center.
He said the initiative aims to connect recognition for social contribution with a broader conversation around personal wellness.
Dr. P.M. Bhardwaj, Chief Adviser to Gaumaya, said the campaign would honor people who have contributed to social and national-service initiatives while also encouraging them to focus on healthy living.
According to Dr. Bhardwaj, the broader vision is to combine environmental responsibility, social service and wellness under a common platform.
‘Vishwa Samagam’ Held in Jaipur
As part of the initiative, a “Vishwa Samagam” was organized at the Sevyam Noval Wellness Center in Jaipur.
The gathering brought together representatives from business, education, social organizations, Ayurveda, law, entrepreneurship and community institutions.
Professor Dr. D.P. Sharma addressed the gathering online as a scientific speaker.
Publicly available profiles describe Sharma as having worked on technology, digital inclusion and Internet-governance initiatives and as having supported the Swachh Bharat campaign. During his address, Sharma said he believed the campaign could eventually develop an international footprint.
He also spoke about reducing dependence on petroleum and discussed dietary choices, cow-derived products and environmental sustainability.
Organizers said Sharma referred to health research while discussing edible oils and ghee.
However, established World Health Organization guidance takes a more specific nutritional position. WHO recommends limiting saturated fat and says unsaturated fats found in foods and oils such as sunflower, soybean, canola and olive oil are generally preferable to saturated fats including ghee.
Therefore, statements made at the event about replacing edible oils with ghee should be understood as the speaker’s views rather than as a WHO recommendation.
Environment, Rural Resources and Wellness in Focus
The organizers positioned the initiative as an attempt to link environmental protection with the productive use of agricultural and cow-based materials.
The use of crop residue in paper-making could also attract interest because agricultural waste management remains an important environmental issue in India.
Gaumaya said its broader work focuses on environmental conservation and cow-based rural initiatives, while Sevyam is contributing through wellness-related services.
The organizations said they plan to expand the campaign through public participation, recognition programs and future events.
