Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley continues its strong recognition with four new awards for excellence. In front of a crowd of 700 travel and tourism leaders in Sydney, the resort was honoured at the 2017 Hospitality Management (HM) Awards for Accommodation Excellence, taking the top spot in two categories, Best Australian Lodge and Best Day Spa.
In recognition of its leading sustainability practises and management, Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley also received an Outstanding Performance AwardfromEnviro-Mark Solutions, issuer of the resort’s carboNZero certification. The award recognises the resort’s exceptional record in carbon management, reducing its carbon footprint by more than 20% since the resort opened in 2009.
On the culinary front, the Wolgan Dining Room at Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley was named Best Restaurant in a Regional Hotel/Resort at the Savour Australia Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence (NSW) 2017.
The honours continue a recent record run of award wins. Mid-year, the resort was named Regional Deluxe Hotel of the Year and Health Club and Spa Facility of the Yearat the Tourism Accommodation Australia (NSW) Awards for Excellence and inducted into the Hall of Fame for Best Environmental Practices.
