AUCKLAND, New Zealand | September 23, 2026 — New Zealand have announced a powerful 16-member squad for their upcoming five-match T20I series against India, with white-ball captain Mitchell Santner set to lead the Black Caps and a seven-man pace attack forming the backbone of the side.
The squad announcement has delivered both good and bad news for New Zealand.
Experienced fast bowler Adam Milne returns to international cricket after more than a year, while spin-bowling all-rounder Michael Bracewell is also back after missing the 2026 T20 World Cup through injury.
