MUMBAI, India | August 26, 2026 —
IPO Listing Today: Indian primary-market investors will watch three new stock-market debuts on Wednesday, August 26, with Gaja Alternative Asset Management, Mopshop Distribution and Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds scheduled to list after completing their public issues last week.
Gaja Alternative Asset Management is the biggest of the three and will make its mainboard debut on the BSE and NSE. Mopshop Distribution and Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds, meanwhile, are scheduled to enter the BSE SME platform.
Investors should remember that the actual listing prices will only become known once trading begins. Grey-market premiums can change rapidly and are unofficial, which is why they should not be treated as guaranteed listing returns.
Gaja Alternative Asset Management Listing Today
Gaja Alternative Asset Management attracted the strongest subscription among the three offerings.
The ₹550 crore IPO was priced in a band of ₹152–₹160 per share and received bids equivalent to 31.33 times the shares available for subscription.
Demand was particularly strong from institutional and non-institutional investors:
- QIB: 43.58x
- NII: 62.35x
- Retail: 11.04x
- Overall: 31.33x
The IPO included a fresh issue as well as an offer-for-sale component.
Gaja is an India-focused alternative asset manager with experience managing and advising private-equity and alternative investment funds.
The company plans to use fresh proceeds partly toward sponsor commitments to existing and proposed funds, repayment of a bridge loan and general corporate purposes.
Given the heavy subscription, Gaja is likely to attract the largest share of investor attention among Wednesday’s three listings.
Mopshop Distribution IPO Listing
Mopshop Distribution is scheduled to list on the BSE SME platform.
The company offered shares at a fixed price of ₹138 each, with an issue size of approximately ₹27.26 crore.
Its IPO received an overall subscription of about 1.56 times.
Retail investors showed comparatively stronger interest:
- Retail: 2.91x
- NII: 0.34x
- Overall: 1.56x
Mopshop Distribution operates in the facility-management supplies business.
Its portfolio includes cleaning and hygiene products, garbage bags, tissue paper, dispensers, bins, vacuum cleaners and other products supplied primarily through a business-to-business model.
IPO proceeds are intended for purposes including repayment of borrowings, commercial vehicles, a rooftop solar project at its warehousing facility and general corporate requirements.
Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds Listing on BSE SME
Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds will also be closely watched when it makes its BSE SME debut.
The IPO was priced in a band of ₹95–₹99 per share and had an issue size of approximately ₹26.73 crore.
The issue was subscribed around 1.62 times overall.
Retail participation was stronger than demand from non-institutional investors:
- QIB: 1x
- Retail: 3.08x
- NII: 0.31x
- Overall: 1.62x
Dhanwel operates in the seed industry, including development, multiplication, processing and supply of seeds for field crops and vegetables.
Its listing will therefore offer investors exposure to a very different business compared with asset management and facility-management supplies.
Which IPO Listing Should Investors Watch Most Closely?
Among the three, Gaja Alternative Asset Management clearly enters listing day with the strongest subscription numbers.
Its 31.33x overall demand is substantially higher than the subscriptions received by Mopshop Distribution and Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds.
That does not mean Gaja is guaranteed to deliver the biggest listing gain.
Subscription numbers indicate investor demand during the IPO process, but the opening price can also be influenced by broader market sentiment, valuation, available supply, institutional positioning and conditions on listing morning.
SME stocks can be particularly volatile because trading liquidity may be substantially lower than in large mainboard stocks.
Why GMP Is Not in the Headline
IPO investors often search for the latest grey-market premium before a listing.
However, the grey market is unofficial and unregulated, and premiums can move sharply before the shares begin trading.
A GMP is therefore not the same as an exchange-determined listing price.
Investors should avoid treating any overnight premium as a guaranteed profit.
The more reliable numbers before listing are the issue price, subscription data, exchange, business fundamentals and official listing schedule.
What Investors Should Check After Market Opens
Once trading begins, the most important numbers will be:
- Actual listing price
- Listing gain or loss versus issue price
- Intraday high and low
- Trading volume
- Whether early gains hold after the opening
- Liquidity in the SME counters
For Gaja Alternative Asset Management, the key comparison will be against the ₹160 upper issue price.
For Mopshop Distribution, the reference price is ₹138.
For Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds, investors will compare the market debut against the ₹99 upper end of its IPO price band.

IPO Listing Today: The Bottom Line
August 26 brings three very different businesses to the stock market.
Gaja Alternative Asset Management arrives with exceptionally strong subscription demand, while Mopshop Distribution and Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds enter the SME market after more moderate investor response.
The key rule for listing day remains simple:
Subscription tells you how investors bid. The market decides the actual listing price.
