MUMBAI, India | October 9, 2026 — The Indian box office report through Thursday, October 8, puts Drishyam 3: The Conclusion at ₹245.50 crore in domestic net collections after its first week. However, the latest daily earnings tell a more measured story: Ajay Devgn’s thriller continues to attract audiences while its weekday collections ease.

The film collected an estimated ₹13 crore India net on Thursday, according to Sacnilk figures reported by NDTV Profit. Its worldwide gross reached ₹383.60 crore, leaving the ₹400 crore milestone within sight.

Meanwhile, the regional releases in this report showed different Thursday trends. Baththa and Dorothy registered modest daily increases, while The Paradise and Don’t Trouble The Trouble collected less than on Wednesday.

Thursday Box Office: The Numbers at a Glance

FilmOctober 8 India NetCumulative India Net Through October 8
Drishyam 3: The Conclusion₹13.00 crore₹245.50 crore
Baththa₹1.34 crore₹15.42 crore
The Paradise₹0.89 crore₹118.98 crore
Dorothy₹0.54 crore₹11.97 crore
Don’t Trouble The Trouble₹0.25 crore₹4.41 crore

The table covers selected releases with available Thursday reports. It does not represent the entire Indian theatrical market.

The figures reflect Sacnilk estimates reported by NDTV Profit and The Times of India. Subsequent trade updates may revise them.

Drishyam 3: A Big First Week, With Collections Cooling

Thursday’s ₹13 crore brought Drishyam 3’s opening week to ₹245.50 crore India net. Compared with Wednesday’s ₹15.50 crore, the latest daily figure represents a decline of approximately 16.1%.

That creates two distinct measures of performance. The cumulative total shows how much the film has collected so far. The daily movement shows how its earning pace is changing.

The worldwide figure also needs its own label. The reported ₹383.60 crore comprises ₹294.60 crore India gross and ₹89 crore overseas gross. It is therefore different from the film’s domestic net total.

As the thriller enters its second weekend, the key question is whether Friday, Saturday and Sunday can lift collections from Thursday’s level. A weekend increase would add momentum, but its size remains uncertain.

Baththa Holds Its Ground

Vijay Sethupathi’s Baththa collected an estimated ₹1.34 crore India net on Thursday, compared with ₹1.33 crore on Wednesday, according to Sacnilk figures reported by The Times of India.

Its cumulative domestic net reached ₹15.42 crore.

The increase is small, so readers should treat it as a broadly steady daily performance. Nevertheless, maintaining collections gives the film a useful base heading into the weekend.

The next comparison will be with its own recent earnings. A larger film’s headline total alone cannot explain how Baththa is performing within its theatrical run.

The Paradise: Lifetime Scale and Daily Pace Diverge

Nani’s The Paradise earned an estimated ₹89 lakh India net on Thursday. Its cumulative domestic net stood at ₹118.98 crore, while worldwide gross reached ₹171.32 crore.

The Times of India reported those figures, citing Sacnilk.

Thursday’s earnings were lower than Wednesday’s ₹96 lakh. Consequently, the film’s substantial accumulated total sits alongside a softer current daily pace.

That distinction matters when assessing a continuing release. Earlier collections contribute to the lifetime total, while the latest daily earnings reveal its present momentum.

Dorothy Edges Up; Don’t Trouble The Trouble Slows

Dorothy collected an estimated ₹54 lakh India net on Thursday, up from ₹49 lakh the previous day. Its cumulative domestic net reached ₹11.97 crore, according to the same tracker’s figures reported by The Times of India.

Meanwhile, Don’t Trouble The Trouble collected approximately ₹25 lakh, compared with Wednesday’s ₹30 lakh. Its first-week India net total stood at ₹4.41 crore.

These movements show why a daily roundup needs more than one headline number. Films can move in different directions during the same trading day.

How to Read the Collections Correctly

India net refers to domestic ticket revenue after applicable entertainment taxes. India gross includes those taxes, while worldwide gross combines domestic gross and overseas gross.

Therefore, compare matching measures: net with net, gross with gross, and daily earnings with daily earnings.

Collections also do not equal producer profit. Production costs, marketing expenses, distribution arrangements and other revenue streams influence a film’s financial outcome.

The Weekend Test Starts Now

Among the films covered here, Drishyam 3 enters Friday with the largest Thursday collection. However, the coming weekend will provide fresh evidence of audience demand across these releases.

For readers following the box office, the useful story is both the milestone and the movement: how much a film has accumulated, and how strongly it continues to earn.

Reporting cutoff: This report covers collections through October 8, 2026. It excludes October 9 earnings. All figures are approximate trade estimates.
