India Box Office Collection September 16 2026 has delivered another remarkable result as the weeks-old Hanuman Ansh continues to outperform several newer releases. The devotional drama earned an estimated ₹8.25 crore net in India on Tuesday, September 15, while Mirzapur: The Movie added ₹5.50 crore and moved within striking distance of the ₹200 crore India-net club.
Meanwhile, Mandaadi remained strong in the South Indian market, Irumudi continued its steady theatrical run, and Bethlehem Kudumba Unit pushed its worldwide gross beyond ₹310 crore. However, Haiwaan and Toxic faced a much tougher weekday battle.

Hanuman Ansh Refuses to Slow Down on Day 40
The biggest surprise remains Hanuman Ansh.
Released on August 7, the film collected an estimated ₹8.25 crore net on its 40th day, matching its Monday collection. Its overall India net has now reached approximately ₹231.13 crore, while the India gross stands at about ₹272.90 crore.
Even more striking is the film’s longevity. Its sixth weekend produced ₹10.50 crore on Friday, ₹18.50 crore on Saturday and ₹22.50 crore on Sunday before the weekday slowdown arrived.
For a film already in its sixth week, an ₹8 crore-plus Tuesday remains an unusually strong result.
Mirzapur: The Movie Just One Big Day Away From ₹200 Crore
Mirzapur: The Movie remains another major box-office force.
The Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Ravi Kishan-starrer collected ₹5.50 crore net on Day 12, keeping its Tuesday business level with Monday. Its India net has reached ₹195.70 crore, while India gross stands at ₹233.14 crore. Worldwide gross has climbed to approximately ₹281.14 crore.
That leaves the crime drama only about ₹4.30 crore short of ₹200 crore India net.
The film had already accumulated ₹148.45 crore during its first week. Although weekday numbers have cooled, its second-week performance remains substantial.
Mandaadi Crosses ₹50 Crore India Net
Tamil film Mandaadi emerged as one of Tuesday’s strongest performers.
The Soori-starrer earned approximately ₹4.40 crore net on Day 6, pushing its India total to ₹50.25 crore. India gross reached about ₹58.78 crore, while worldwide gross rose to ₹69.43 crore.
Tuesday’s business dropped sharply from Monday’s ₹11.25 crore. However, crossing ₹50 crore net within six days gives the film a significant box-office milestone.
Irumudi Keeps Running Strong in Week Four
Ravi Teja’s Irumudi added another ₹1.30 crore net on its fourth Tuesday.
The film has now accumulated approximately ₹184.20 crore India net, ₹214 crore India gross and ₹236.45 crore worldwide.
Its Monday collection stood at ₹2.50 crore, meaning Tuesday brought a noticeable decline. Even so, the movie continues to draw audiences nearly four weeks after release.
Bethlehem Kudumba Unit Crosses ₹310 Crore Worldwide
Malayalam cinema also has a major long-running success.
Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju’s Bethlehem Kudumba Unit collected approximately ₹1.40 crore net on Day 26, taking its India net total to ₹149.90 crore.
The film has grossed about ₹175.05 crore in India and ₹135.50 crore overseas, producing a worldwide total of approximately ₹310.55 crore.
Its fourth-week hold remains particularly notable for a film already approaching a month in cinemas.
Haiwaan Fails to Find Momentum
The picture looks very different for Haiwaan.
The Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan-starrer earned only around ₹70 lakh net on Tuesday, its fifth day in cinemas. Total India net now stands at approximately ₹8.75 crore, with a worldwide gross of around ₹13.61 crore.
The film opened with ₹3 crore, followed by ₹2.50 crore on Saturday and ₹1.85 crore on Sunday. Monday then dropped to ₹70 lakh, and Tuesday remained at the same level.
That trend leaves the Priyadarshan-directed film under considerable pressure heading toward the end of its first week.
Toxic Falls to ₹13 Lakh on Day 21
Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has now entered the tail end of its theatrical run.
The film added only ₹13 lakh net on its third Tuesday, taking total India net to approximately ₹249.37 crore. Its worldwide gross stands at around ₹341.39 crore.
The film had opened with enormous numbers, but daily collections have now fallen sharply as show counts decline.
Epic – First Semester Adds ₹57 Lakh
Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya’s Epic – First Semester collected approximately ₹57 lakh net on Day 5.
Its cumulative India net reached around ₹6.01 crore, while worldwide gross stood near ₹9.31 crore.
The film now needs a stronger hold through the remaining weekdays to protect its screen count.
Who Won the Tuesday Box Office Battle?
Among the major films tracked on September 15, Hanuman Ansh recorded the highest India-net collection at ₹8.25 crore, followed by Mirzapur: The Movie at ₹5.50 crore and Mandaadi at ₹4.40 crore.
The bigger story, however, is longevity.
Hanuman Ansh remains unusually strong after 40 days, while Mirzapur: The Movie is preparing to cross ₹200 crore India net. At the opposite end, Haiwaan faces an uphill battle after failing to generate a strong first-week hold.
Wednesday’s collections will now determine whether Mirzapur can enter the ₹200 crore club and whether Haiwaan can stabilize before its second weekend.
