Awarapan 2 Box Office Collection Day 6 shows that Emraan Hashmi’s romantic action drama has maintained a commanding lead over Sunny Deol’s Batwara 1947, even as weekday collections for both films have begun to decline. After six days in theaters, Awarapan 2 has collected an estimated ₹107.50 crore in India, while Batwara 1947 stands at approximately ₹32.15 crore. Recent box-office reporting also confirms that Awarapan 2 has crossed the ₹100 crore mark within its first week.
At the same time, Hollywood blockbuster Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues its extended theatrical run in India. Based on the day-wise figures provided, the film has reached approximately ₹473.50 crore after its 21st day, while other box-office trackers are reporting figures in a similar range depending on whether net or gross collections are being compared.
Awarapan 2 Box Office Collection Day 6
Awarapan 2 opened strongly and continued to dominate through its first weekend before experiencing the expected weekday slowdown.
Its estimated India collection currently stands at:
Day 1: ₹22 crore
Day 2: ₹33.75 crore
Day 3: ₹26 crore
Day 4: ₹9.25 crore
Day 5: ₹9.75 crore
Day 6: ₹6.75 crore
Total after six days: ₹107.50 crore
The film’s collection declined on Day 6 compared with Tuesday, but its overall performance remains strong after crossing the ₹100 crore milestone within less than a week. Recent trade reports have also described it as Emraan Hashmi’s biggest solo box-office success to date.
Emraan Hashmi Returns as Shivam in Awarapan 2
Directed by Nitin Kakkar, Awarapan 2 brings Emraan Hashmi back as Shivam, the character closely associated with the original 2007 film.
The sequel also features Disha Patani, while Shabana Azmi appears in an important role.
The original Awarapan, directed by Mohit Suri, developed a strong following over the years despite its modest theatrical performance. The sequel has now transformed that recognition into significantly stronger commercial numbers.
Recent reports identify Vishesh Bhatt as producer and note that the sequel was developed as a continuation of Shivam’s story rather than simply recreating the original film.
Awarapan 2 Becomes One of Emraan Hashmi’s Biggest Box Office Hits
The ₹107.50 crore six-day collection puts Awarapan 2 ahead of several previous films led by Emraan Hashmi.
Its strong opening weekend proved crucial. The movie collected more than ₹80 crore across its first three days based on the figures available, giving it a major advantage before weekday business began slowing.
The film’s performance is particularly notable because it released in direct competition with Batwara 1947.
Batwara 1947 Box Office Collection Day 6 Falls to ₹1.40 Crore
Sunny Deol’s Batwara 1947 also started with encouraging numbers, particularly on its second day. However, the Partition drama has struggled to maintain momentum during weekdays.
Its estimated collections are:
Day 1: ₹5.75 crore
Day 2: ₹13.50 crore
Day 3: ₹7.25 crore
Day 4: ₹2 crore
Day 5: ₹2.25 crore
Day 6: ₹1.40 crore
Total after six days: ₹32.15 crore
The movie has therefore remained well below the ₹50 crore mark after six days.
Its first weekend ended at around ₹26.50 crore, confirming that weekday collections would become crucial for the film’s longer-term theatrical performance.
Batwara 1947 Faces Tough Competition From Awarapan 2
Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, Batwara 1947 features a large ensemble cast led by Sunny Deol, alongside Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol and Ali Fazal.
The film opened at approximately ₹5.75 crore but benefited from a major jump on its second day.
However, collections weakened sharply after the weekend.
Its direct clash with Awarapan 2 has made the contrast particularly visible. While the Emraan Hashmi film has crossed ₹100 crore, Batwara 1947 has accumulated a little over ₹32 crore during the same six-day period.
Awarapan 2 vs Batwara 1947 After Six Days
The box-office gap between the two Hindi releases has widened considerably.
Awarapan 2: ₹107.50 crore
Batwara 1947: ₹32.15 crore
That gives Awarapan 2 a lead of approximately ₹75.35 crore after six days based on the available estimates.
The next weekend will now be important for both films. Awarapan 2 will look to stabilize after its weekday decline, while Batwara 1947 needs stronger weekend footfalls to improve its theatrical trajectory.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day Collection Nears ₹475 Crore
Meanwhile, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day remains one of the strongest Hollywood performers at the Indian box office in 2026.
The superhero film reportedly collected around ₹2.55 crore on Day 20 and approximately ₹1.80 crore on Day 21, taking the running total based on those estimates to roughly ₹473.50 crore.
One recent tracker placed the film’s India net total at about ₹471.70 crore after Day 20, while another box-office database has recorded a total collection above ₹478 crore using a different reporting methodology. The difference underlines why net, gross and language-wise totals should not be treated as interchangeable.
Globally, the Tom Holland-led superhero film has also delivered blockbuster numbers, with international box-office reporting putting its worldwide collection above $2 billion.
Which Film Is Winning the Current Box Office Battle?
Among the two major Hindi releases, Awarapan 2 currently holds a clear advantage.
Its opening, weekend momentum and early entry into the ₹100 crore club have given it a strong theatrical position. Batwara 1947, despite a sharp Day 2 jump, has not been able to sustain the same pace.
However, both films are now seeing weekday declines, which means their second-weekend performance will determine how far they can extend their theatrical runs.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day, meanwhile, continues to operate on a much larger overall scale and remains a major force in Indian theaters even three weeks after release.
Note: Box-office figures are estimates and may change when final producer, distributor or theater-chain numbers are reconciled. Net and gross collections may also differ across tracking systems.
