Box Office Collection Today has entered a crucial new phase as Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups arrives in theaters Wednesday, threatening to reshape screen allocation for several movies already running across India.
Emraan Hashmi’s Awarapan 2 remains the strongest Hindi performer, reaching an estimated ₹143 crore India net after 12 days, while Sunny Deol’s Batwara 1947 has slowed sharply at approximately ₹37.70 crore India net.
Ravi Teja’s Irumudi, meanwhile, continues its strong Telugu run with approximately ₹77.18 crore tracked India gross through Tuesday, while Suriya’s Vishwanath and Sons has reached around ₹112.31 crore tracked India gross.
The biggest disruption, however, begins today as Toxic enters cinemas following exceptionally strong advance bookings.

Awarapan 2 Reaches ₹143 Crore, ₹150 Crore Is Now the Target
Awarapan 2 continues to dominate the Hindi box office.
The Emraan Hashmi-led sequel collected an estimated ₹4 crore India net on its second Tuesday, up from ₹2.75 crore on Monday.
That pushed its 12-day domestic net total to approximately:

The film had already completed its opening week with around ₹113.50 crore India net.
Its second-week performance has now brought the ₹150 crore milestone within reach.
However, the situation changes significantly from Wednesday because Toxic is likely to take over a substantial number of premium screens.

Wednesday’s biggest box-office event is unquestionably Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.
Yash returns to the big screen in the Geetu Mohandas-directed action drama, which opens nationwide today after generating exceptional pre-release interest.
Latest tracked advance-booking data before release indicated approximately ₹61.99 crore in opening-day advance gross across India, involving roughly 1.92 million tickets across tracked shows.
Hindi reportedly accounted for the largest portion of tracked advance sales, followed by Kannada and Telugu.
Karnataka remained its strongest state market.
These figures do not represent the film’s final Day 1 collection. Walk-in ticket sales and final show reporting will determine the actual opening-day number.

The film had already crossed ₹50 crore during its opening weekend and has retained strong support, particularly in Telugu-speaking markets.
Toxic could now create fresh competition for screens, making Irumudi’s Wednesday hold particularly significant.
Vishwanath and Sons Crosses ₹112 Crore
Suriya’s Vishwanath and Sons remains another resilient performer.
The movie recorded approximately ₹3.31 crore tracked India gross on Tuesday, representing growth over Monday.

The film crossed the ₹100 crore tracked India-gross milestone during its second weekend and has continued to attract audiences despite entering the later stages of its run.
Batwara 1947 Struggles Below ₹40 Crore
The situation is far more difficult for Batwara 1947.
Sunny Deol’s film collected an estimated ₹55 lakh India net on Day 12, taking its cumulative domestic net collection to approximately:

The film ended its first week around ₹33.60 crore but has failed to generate strong weekday momentum in its second week.
Its theatrical position could weaken further as Toxic takes over major screens.
The gap between Batwara 1947 and Awarapan 2 has now become enormous despite both films entering theaters during the Independence Day release period.

Bethlehem Kudumba Unit Nears ₹100 Crore Worldwide
Malayalam cinema is also delivering an interesting box-office battle during the Onam period.
Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju, collected an estimated ₹7.90 crore India net on Tuesday.
Its India net total has reached approximately ₹35.65 crore.
More significantly, overseas business has pushed the movie’s estimated worldwide gross to approximately:

That leaves the ₹100 crore global milestone within striking distance.
Khalifa Shows Strong Tuesday Growth
Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Khalifa also recorded an improvement.
The movie earned an estimated ₹1.54 crore India net on Day 6, representing strong growth over Monday’s collection.
Its cumulative India net collection stands at approximately ₹14.41 crore, while its reported worldwide gross has reached around ₹33.73 crore.
The Malayalam market therefore remains highly competitive during the festive period.
