That gives Awarapan 2 a first-day lead of ₹15.25 crore. Its estimated India collection was approximately 3.65 times that of Batwara 1947, or about 265% higher.

Early reports place the worldwide opening of Awarapan 2 at approximately ₹27 crore, potentially making it the biggest opening of Emraan Hashmi’s career.

Box-office numbers are provisional trade estimates and may change after producers, distributors and theater chains complete their reconciliation.

Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey also maintained its theatrical presence nearly a month after release.

Its continued performance after 29 days reflects sustained interest in Nolan’s cinema and demand for large-format screenings. However, its daily earnings are now naturally lower as newer releases occupy more screens.
