The film opened below ₹1 crore on August 7. It found limited growth over its opening weekend but suffered a sharp fall once the weekday period began.
Its performance has also been affected by intense competition from Spider-Man: Brand New Day, The Odyssey and the stronger-than-expected showing of DC: The Bloody Valentine.
With its daily earnings now measured in lakhs, the movie will need a substantial increase over the Independence Day weekend to remain competitive. However, new theatrical releases and reduced show allocations could make that recovery difficult.
DC: The Bloody Valentine Maintains Strong Weekday Business
Tamil action-crime drama DC: The Bloody Valentine has performed considerably better than Ohh My Dog, even though both films opened on August 7.
The movie earned about ₹5 crore net on Wednesday, according to early estimates, taking its India net collection to approximately ₹37.50 crore. Other trackers using gross figures placed its six-day nationwide total above ₹43 crore.
