Box Office Collection Today August 30 has turned into a full-blown Yash show. Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has stormed past an estimated ₹254 crore worldwide, leaving rival releases scrambling for screens, shows and audience attention.
But beneath the deafening Toxic roar, another delicious battle is unfolding.
Ravi Teja’s Irumudi has crossed ₹114 crore net in India, while Awarapan 2 is refusing to quietly disappear despite losing prime shows. Meanwhile, smaller films are finding out the hard way that when a pan-India giant enters the theatre, everyone else must fight for the remaining chairs.

The film may not defeat Toxic in daily nationwide business, but Ravi Teja has ensured that Yash does not walk through the box office without hearing another roar.
Awarapan 2 Is Bruised—but Still Breathing
Emraan Hashmi’s Awarapan 2 has entered the stubborn-survivor phase of its theatrical journey.
The film has collected approximately ₹147 crore net in India. It has already crossed ₹200 crore worldwide, turning the sequel into one of Emraan Hashmi’s strongest solo-led commercial performers.
Its problem is no longer audience acceptance.
Its problem is screen space.
Toxic has taken over premium shows across many centres, leaving Awarapan 2 with fewer opportunities to collect. Yet the film continues to extract business from its emotional recall, music and the audience’s connection with Emraan Hashmi’s character.
