CWG 2026 Day 5 Schedule

India faces one of its busiest and most important days at the Commonwealth Games 2026 on Day 5, with Indian athletes competing in up to 10 medal events across athletics, weightlifting, gymnastics, para athletics, swimming, and boxing.

The biggest highlight of the day is the start of the athletics competition, where several of India’s leading track and field athletes—including Murali Sreeshankar, Tejaswin Shankar, and Sarvesh Anil Kushare—will begin their medal campaigns.
