New Delhi,

Women Inspiring Network (WIN), a platform working towards empowering women through information, conceptualised and brought 100 women to share their lockdown winning mantras as part of their Winning The Lockdown Movement. Women from all spheres – media professionals, home bakers, influencers, entrepreneurs, psychologists, bankers, yoga and fitness enthusiasts came together to share their stories and strategies on finding inspiration and positivity and making the lockdown work for them.

WIN brought the voices of 100 women from across demographics on how they beat the lockdown blues and stayed positive. Short, inspirational one minute videos –either  from an eighty year old grandmother or a celebrity or a  business leader or a young professional—they all shared what it took for them to go through possibly one of the most stressful times in their lifetime.   As the women of India battled the ‘double-double’ burden of keeping it all together –from running a home to a company or a job with homeschooling their kids or as primary care-givers, they also devised life-hacks to stay sane and positive during the most intense lockdown imposed anywhere in the world. From taking refuge in music to yoga to baking, several Indian women beat the lockdown blues. Winning the lockdown movement, conceptualised and curated by the Women Inspiring Network, the only network of its kind geared towards developing and curating content to enable women fulfil their potential, documented the lockdown through the voices of 100 women from across demographics. The idea behind it is to bring women together as a community and leave them motivated, energised, positive and most of all inspired.

Speaking on the occasion, Stuti Jalan, Founder WIN stated, “In a short span during the lockdown our network took shape and we have emerged as a strong community of 300 plus women, which includes the support of women leaders, such as Ritu Kapur CEO, The Quint, Bandana Tewari Sustainability activist & Journalist, Anjilee Istiwal – NDTV, Mitali Kakkar – Ad filmmaker, Barkha Singh – Influencer, Vani Tripathi Tikoo – Actor & politician to name a few.  I am elated to be the one to bring to the foray the stories of so many women who inspire and motivate us to stay strong during hard times for all my contemporaries and fellow women to hear.”
