An annual ‘glocal’ pop culture extravaganza, Comic Con only becomes bigger, better, and more exciting each year. As Comic Con India gears up for the seventh edition of the Maruti Suzuki Bengaluru Comic Con, the city’s biggest event celebrating geek culture returns on a grand scale with a whole new collection of comics, graphic novels, experiences, activities, and merchandise for fans.
However, with so much to see and hear in just two days, it can be overwhelming to fit in so many experiences in such a short time. So here are a few pro tips to help fans get the most out of the Comic Con experience at this year’s Bengaluru edition.
Fan and artist meet-ups and panels
Comic Con is a unique platform for anyone with a love for comic books, science-fiction, and gaming to come together for the ultimate geek-out fest. This year, Bengaluru Comic Con will host several talented and well-known artists from India and abroad. Cosplay
Cosplay, or costume play, is an enduring tradition at Comic Cons globally. Fans dress up as their favourite comic book, film, and TV characters, be it from Game of Thrones, the Marvel or DC universe,Doctor Who, Star Wars, or even popular games like Assassin’s Creed and Warcraft. But that’s not all. Cosplayers also get the chance to register for the Cosplay Contest, and the ones with the most outstanding craftsmanship stand to win awesome prizes over both days, not to mention the chance to have their creations featured across social media.
Amazon Prime Video Zone
This zone is dedicated to popular international Amazon Originals, with experiences inspired from hit web-series like The Man in the High Castle, The Grand Tour, and The Tick. Fans can look forward to activities such as puzzles, treasure hunts, race tracks, VR experiences, and lots more. In addition, fans participating in special contests and games will also have a chance to win the coolest merchandise like Amazon Fire TV Sticks, special edition books, caps, and a whole lot of other goodies.
Marvel Studio Experience
Fresh from the worldwide success of Avengers: Infinity War, one of the most successful and talked-about films of the year, Marvel Studios will give fans a chance to engage with their favourite team of superheroes. Rockstar Games Zone
