Weather Update: Rain and Temperature Forecast for the Plains

After the cold, now the temperature is continuously increasing in the plains of the country. However, there are chances of rain in many states. The weather department has predicted rain with strong winds. The situation is going to be like this especially in North-East and Eastern India. Earlier, there had been rain in many areas of Central India.

On the other hand, after Holi, the temperature of the capital Delhi is increasing rapidly. However, for today the IMD has predicted cloudy weather. According to the Meteorological Department, on March 26 i.e. today, many parts of the eastern and north-eastern states will be cloudy with dust storms. There will be chances of rain and storm in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Western Himalayan region and surrounding plains of North-West India.

During the last 24 hours, light rain occurred over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh. According to Skymet Weather, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and thundershowers for the next 2 days. Scattered light rain is possible over the western Himalayan region on March 26 and will increase during the next 2 to 3 days. At the same time, light rain is possible in some parts of Punjab, Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh in the next 3 days.

Light to moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorms is likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim today.
There is a possibility of heavy rainfall/snowfall at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh. Especially in Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning.

Where will the temperature be?

Maximum temperatures over South Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu are between 36-40 degrees Celsius, which is 1-3 degrees Celsius above normal. At the same time, in the remaining parts of the plains of India it is between 30-35 degrees Celsius which is 1-4 degrees Celsius less than normal.

Temperatures will rise in the coming days in isolated parts of Odisha, Kerala, South Interior Karnataka and South Coastal Tamil Nadu.

Hot weather is likely over Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe during March 25 to 29.
