The Vice President of India, Shri M. Hamid Ansari, released a book entitled “Maati Ka Rhin” based on the patriotic poems written by Shri Ram Updesh Singh “Videhn” at a function here today. Shri Hari Kishore Singh, former Minister of State for External Affairs and Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, Chairman, Sulabh International and many dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Addressing on the occasion, Shri Ansari said that a poet is well versed of the content of his writings. His feelings, pains and inspirations are contained in his writing. He congratulated the author for bringing out such a thematic book for the benefit of the masses. He said that we all have to repay the debt of this soil(maati) which has given us the life.
