Walmart India, the wholly owned subsidiary of Walmart Stores Inc.today launched two cutting-edge mobile solutions, `Best Price’ Mobile App and `Dial-a-Deal’ IVR systemfor its members across all 20 Best Price Modern Wholesale stores in nine states.This is an initiative to strengthentheomni-channel offering to its members for a seamless shopping experience.

The `Best Price’ Mobile App has been developed for members to browse, select and place orders, all from their android smart phones. MartJack Enterprise, an e-commerce solutions provider has developed the app.

For digital and mobile commerce, Walmart India has exclusively partnered with MobiKwik, India’slargest independent mobile payments network, to offer Best Price members a safe, fast and easy way to pay. This initiative means members will benefit from instant one-tap paymentswhen transacting on Best Price mobile app, website, and at Best Price stores.They will also get access to instant refundsand sales incentives via credits to theirMobiKwikWallet.

Dial-a-Deal is an IVR system aimed at small enterprises to enable them to get information about best deals available in Best Price stores. This will help them make informed decisions and order merchandise as relevant to their business from even a feature phone. Walmart India has tied up with iEnergizerfor customizing the infrastructure. This is an effort to serve the members better, especially small businesses such as kiranas and help them save money as it comes with the added convenience of ordering over a phone, door-step delivery within 24 hours and several payment solutions.
