Virbhadra announces to upgrade various schools in Nalagarh area

dINVC NEWS Shimla, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today announced opening of primary school at Ziriwala, up-gradation of government primary schools, Rampur Poswala in GP Majra, Gurdaspura in GP Baglehar and Bhangla in GP Dhabota  to middle schools. He also announced upgradation of Government Middle School Kotla-Kalan in GP Baruna, Mastanpura and Adhowal in GP Bhogpur  to Government High Schools and GHS Rajpura to Government Senior Secondary School. The Chief Minister who was addressing a public meeting at Nalagarh in Solan district announced to start M.com Classes in post –graduate college Nalagarh. He also announced Primary Health Centre (PHC) for village Gullarwala, Up-gradation of PHC Ramshehar to Community Health Centre (CHC). He also announced an ITI to be opened in Gram Panchayat Panjhera and a sum of Rs 50 lakh for indoor stadium at Nalagarh. He announced a bridge from Rajpura to Kanganwal in GP Dhang Nehli to cost Rs 2.86 crore, re-surfacing of road from Nalagarh to Ramshehar and mettaling and tarring on Dherowal, Zira Maganpura road to be done with an outlay of ? 5.61 crore. Shri Virbhadra Singh said that his long cherished dream of opening a Technology Centre/ Tool Room at Baddi would soon be fulfilled paving way for  many new entrepreneurs. He directed to complete all the schemes in a time-bound manner. He said that the government was alive to drinking water and irrigational needs of the people of Nalagarh area and effective steps would be taken to fulfill these demands besides connecting different areas by bridges. He exhorted the people not to sell their ancestral land for sake of bit of extra pecuniary benefits. He directed for beautifying and expansion of the ground of the old Boys School, Nalagarh and asked the education department to provide no objection certificate for expansion of the ground. He said that today there were 15534 schools in the State and 99 percent were opened by the congress governments. The government has opened 94 degree colleges mostly in remote areas to benefit the students. Chairman, Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Shri Hardeep Bawa thanked the Chief Minister for dedicating and laying foundation stones of projects worth ? 130 crore in a single day. He also listed the development of the area and placed several demands of the area before the Chief Minister. President Block Congress Nalagarh Shri Aseem Sharma proposed the vote of thanks. Industries Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri, MLA Shri Ram Kumar, former MLA Shri  Lakhwinder Rana, Vice-Chairman Khadi Board,Shri Ramesh Chauhan, Vice-Chairman HP Small Savings Shri Prakash Karat, Chairman APMC Solan, Shri Ramesh Thakur, Member, BoD Animal Husbandry Shri Rajinder Thakur, former Zila Parishad Member, Shri Paramjit Pammi, Deputy Commissioner Shri Rakesh Kanwar, SP Baddi Shri Basher Singh and representatives from various Panchayats among senior officers of the district.
