According to the religious calendar, the Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Ashadha starts from 3:09 pm on Wednesday, June 21, and ends on June 22 at 5:27 pm. Light a lamp in the temple of your house and bathe the idol or picture of Lord Ganesha. Afterward, dress the deity in clean clothes and apply vermilion tilak (sacred mark) to the idol.

During the worship of Lord Ganesha, it is customary to offer Durva grass, which is considered dear to him. You can also offer Modak (a sweet dumpling), which is considered Lord Ganesha’s favorite. Perform Aarti (ritual of waving a lamp) to the Lord and conclude the worship by seeking forgiveness for any mistakes and offering your prayers.

By observing the Vinayaka Chaturthi fast and worshipping Lord Ganesha with devotion, devotees seek his blessings to overcome obstacles, attain knowledge, and acquire wealth. This festival holds great significance in Hinduism and is celebrated with enthusiasm and joy in many parts of India.
