Views and suggestions are invited for state budget
INVC NEWS New Delhi, The State Government has invited suggestions from general public, industries, trade and farmers associations on the State budget for year 2017-18. Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) Dr. Shrikant Baldi said here today that the process of formulation of the State Budget had commenced and suggestions were being invited to make it more people centric, participative and reflection of the views of various stakeholders in the society. The suggestions for annual plan /budget can be sent through e-mail at email@example.com or web portal of finance budget or through letter to the Additional Chief Secretary, Finance, Government of Himachal Pradesh by 21st January, 2017. Dr. Baldi said that all the Deputy Commissioners have also been directed to give their views and suggestions regarding new interventions or policies that could improve the service delivery for the general public and benefit the poor people. They have also been asked to suggest activities which would improve the quality of life of the people besides proposing new schemes and programmes for generation of employment. The Director Industries, Excise and Taxation Commissioner have also been directed to seek involvement of Industries and Trade Associations for suggestions for the ensuing budget. The Director, Agriculture and Horticulture have been asked to take up the matter with farmers associations and take their suggestions.
