VESIM successfully hosts 4th edition of its iconic fest – ‘Literati Fest 2019’

Vivekanand Education Society Institute of Management (VESIM) Business School, one of the leading B-schools in Mumbai Recently hosted the 4th edition of its iconic literature festival – ‘VESIM Literati Fest 2019’. The student driven literature festival featured three days of expert panel discussions, iconic book launches, interactive conversations and various fun filled festivities saw the convergence of notable personalities from various walks of life.

VESIM Literati Fest since its inception 3 years ago has witnessed around 40+ sessions, 100+ speakers, authors, prominent celebrities, gala evenings and several audience engagements. The uniqueness of this literature festival is that it is not only talks about books but also focuses on understanding & unveiling Indian culture, roots & ethos. The feedback received throughout the years is the main reason why it is progressing into one of the eagerly awaited and most popular literature festivals of Mumbai.

Speaking about the event, Dr. Satish Modh, Director, VESIM Business School said, “Knowledge remains at the core of all learning process. The ‘VESIM Literati Fest’ enables this learning by exposing participants to understand writings on the current social context of India.”

Several notable personalities like the Consulate General of Israel, Yaakov Finkelstein interacted with the students and shared his views on the Indo-Israel relationship. Other luminaries who participated in this fest included Dr. Manmohan Vaidya, Joint Secretary, RSS who graced the panel with his knowledgeable insights about cultural identity of Bharat and celebrity authors like Ashwin Sanghi, Anand Neelakantan, Sudeep Nagarkar, renowned classical dancer and Padma Vibhushan Shri Sonal Mansingh, interior designer/ celebrity Nisha JamVwal, economist Ajit Ranadean renowned journalist R Jagannathan.The fest also witnessed book launches – Varana by Anand Neelakantan, The Sangh and Swaraj by Ratan Sharda and RSS – A view to the inside by Shridhar Damle.
