Residents of Mapsko Casabella gathered today to pay humble tribute to Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The residents organized the 
prayer ceremony in the complex where they lit a diya and garlanded Atal Ji photos. Children of the society recited poems written by Vajpayee Ji, which was followed by a speech which highlighted his extraordinary work for the nation and his invaluable contribution to world of poetry. Vajpayee Ji has been played a valuable role in politics and was the only politician who was liked by members across parties.
Mapsko Group Director, Rahul Singla, while expressing his condolences said “ India has lost a great leader. Vajpayee Ji has played a monumental role in the growth of our country and everyone will always remember him fondly. As a mark of respect to the departed dignitary, we have organized this ceremony and it is overwhelming to see how loved he was by people at large. May his soul rest in peace”
Vajpayeeji took his last breath on August 16 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. His last rites were held in Delhi on August 17, which was attended by leaders from all parties and thousands mourned as BJP’s tallest leader was laid to rest.
“I am thankful to the Mapsko group for providing us with the chance of paying tribute to Atal Ji. He was a great leader, and he shall always be remembered for his contributions,” said MC Chaturvedi, a resident of Mapsko Casabella.
The event concluded with distribution of books written by Atal Ji.
