Lucknow : Prepare yourself for the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment 2023 where 37,000 vacancies will be filled. If you have completed your 12th grade and meet the age criteria, keep an eye out for the upcoming notification to apply for Constable, PAC, Jail Warden, or Fireman positions.
Lakhs of candidates of the state are waiting to start the application process for the recruitment of Constable in Uttar Pradesh Police. A total of 37 thousand posts of PAC, Jail Warden and Fireman are to be recruited by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board along with Constable in UP Police.
The update for this recruitment was released by the UP government’s ‘Mission Rozgar’ on January 11, 2023, in which official information was shared about the total number of posts to be kept at 37 thousand. However, information was not given regarding the start of this update application process.
On the other hand, as per media reports, the application process for constable recruitment may be started soon by UPPRPB and will be completed by July 2024. In such a situation, it is believed that the notification can be issued by the board in July.
Who can apply?
To apply for recruitment to the posts of Constable in Uttar Pradesh Police, candidates must have passed Intermediate (12th) from a recognized board. Also, the age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 23 years as on the prescribed cut-off date. However, relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to the reserved categories of the state as well as women candidates of all categories. In addition to this, female and male candidates will also have to fulfill the prescribed physical standards.
How will the candidates be selected?
Candidates can be selected for Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment on the basis of written examination, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Examination by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. However, candidates will have to wait for the notification to be released by UPPRPB to know about the final selection process.
