Usha’s association with IQF 2019 underscores its commitment to promoting sewing and the joy associated with learning to create. IQF 2019 includes a Quilt show competition, where quilters from India and overseas are invited to participate and showcase their quilts. The winner will be awarded with the ‘Usha Award for Excellence in Quilting’.

The education segment at the festival sponsored by Usha includes workshops and lectures, comprising a faculty of leading international and Indian quilting experts like Pat Archibald, Patrick J. Finn, Heather Grant and Shruti Dandekar among others.
Pat Archibald will conduct three workshops with 20 participants in each workshop. Pat would make participants work with Usha Dream Maker 120, using various stitching techniques thereby showcasing the versatility of this sewing machine from Usha. These workshops will be held at Welcom Hotel, Cathedral Road, Chennai.
