The city police arrested two accused for the murder of vegetable vendor and produced them before the court and the court sent them on five days police remand. The main accused of murder is still at large. Ravi, the deceased was murdered only for ten rupees in the vegetable market of panchkula for the rent of umbrella.On Friday, the residents of maulijagran along with the family members of Ravi who was stabbed by knife for three times an dhe died on the spot raised the protest against the police and blocked the dividing road of sector-5 & 6. They demanded the arrests of the accused. Area SHO Naveen Sandhu advised them to maintain peace but in anger they rushed towards dividing road of sector-5 & 6 and blocked the road which was going to police headquarters. The protesters demanded DCP Ashwin Shenvi should be present on the spot and after that DCP rushed to the spot. He assured the protesters that the police is investigation and also conducting the raids to arrest accused . After assurance of DCP they opened the road but gathered on the road side and raised slogans. SHO Naveen Sandhu along with five member delegation went to sector-5 police station where DCP assured them that the accused will be arrested soon. After that police commissioner Rajbir deswal rushed on the spot and he assured the protesters that the police will arrest the accused within next 24 hours and only then the people stopped the protest. While speaking to INVC, SHO Naveen Sandhu said that during raids the police succeeded to arrest Devnand alias deva and Vikas alias mand who is nephew of main accused pardeep who is at large. He further said that they produced both the accused before the court and the court sent them on five days police remand
