Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister Anil Vij said that the State Government had made it mandatory for a person to wear a face mask while in public places and workplace, which has been withdrawn with immediate effect today. He said that now no fine of Rs 500/- would be imposed by the State for not wearing face masks in public places and workplaces.
He said that today a notification in this regard has been issued by the Health Department of the State Government.
Sh.Vij said that as per the notification issued, the general public has been advised to adhere the ‘Covid Appropriate Behaviour’. Wearing of face masks, frequent use of sanitizers and hand hygiene and maintaining social distancing are desirable, he added.
The number of patients of Covid infection in the state is coming below 100- Vij
The Health Minister said that for the last several days, the number of patients of Covid infection in the state is coming down below 100 and in this episode, a total of 46 Covid-19 infection cases have come in the state today, out of which 41 in Gurgaon, one in Faridabad, one in Hisar, one in Sonipat and 2 in Palwal.
Vaccination work is going on fast pace in the state- Vij
Sh. Vij said that the work of vaccination is going on at a fast pace in the state, under which 4 crore 19 lakh 41 thousand 221 vaccines have been administrated to the people, out of which 2 crore 31 lakh 60 thousand 519 first dose and one crore 84 lakh 99 thousand 860 is second dose has been administrated.
