Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today congratulated the students who have been successful in the Public Service Commission examinations conducted in the year 2016. He expressed his satisfaction that the State Government had brought the affairs of the Public Service Commission back on track and the meritorious candidates have been selected for the top posts. Dr. Raman Singh added that large-scale recruitment had taken place whether PSC, Vyapam and other departmental examinations.

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh was addressing the monthly radio broadcast ‘Raman Ke Goth’ aired by the Akashvani all over the State. He congratulated the candidates who passed the Chhattisgarh State Public Service Commission examination held in the year 2016. He referred to the passing out of girls after a lot of hard-work and struggle. The TOP-3 are girls and there are six girls in the top ten of the list of PSC examination.

Dr. Raman Singh congratulated the girls and all the successful candidates and wished them a bright future. Girls are no way inferior then boys and they are entering the field and accepting the challenges. He referred to the Rajnandgaon’s, Ms Archana Pande  who passed the Public Service Commission examination thrice and each time she joined the higher rank and this time she joined the Deputy Collector’s post.  Miss. Archana is the eldest of the three sisters. Her one sister is doing her C.A. and the other M.B.A.  Pande’s family is the shining example women’s empowerment. Miss Divya Vaishnav bagged the second place and in the year 2014 she stood 11th in rankings. Miss.  Divya Vaishnav continued her hard work and now is Deputy Collector.

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said the story of dental surgeon Miss Deepti Verma is also very interesting. She started studying for P.S.C. examinations after marriage. She worked very hard and is now Deputy Collector. Soumitra Pradhan and Devendra Kumar are Engineers. They have now entered the administrative services.

Dr. Raman Singh said that Miss Preeti, daughter of teachers Mr. Durgam Nagesh and Mrss Meena Nagesh, residents of villages Usur district Bijapur, became Deputy Collector after persistent hard work determination. Chief Minister said ”I salute the boys and girls of the depressed sections of the society in the Left- Wing Extremism affected districts are passing various examinations in flying colours”. Miss Preeti has become a symbol of hope for the backward sections of the society in the entire region and a ray of hope. Mr. Sreedhar Panda of Ramnagar in the capital works in the family hotel. His father Mr. Neelkant runs a small hotel. The son works there for eight hours assisting his father in cutting vegetables, cooking food, catering to guests and washing utensils. He failed in the 2013-2014 PSC Examinations. He almost gave up for the hotel business. But this time he passed in distinction.
