The ongoing Chandigarh Rose Festival entered in its successive 2nd day

INVC,, Chandigarh, The ongoing Chandigarh Rose Festival entered in its successive 2nd day after its ceremonial inauguration yesterday. Inspite of Light Shower and cloudy whether, both the venues at rose Garden as well as Leisure valley remained  thronged with visitors through out the day.  Amidst the beautiful gloomed roses, the entire venue of Rose Garden had many cultural activities both by the local as well as artists from the other states who entertained the visitors with their traditional folkdances and music. The most popular, the rose prince and princess competition was organized by the Engineering Department. Apart from the other events like Anatakshari Competition, Photographic competition and kite flying competition were also held at Rose Garden. The main attraction in the kite flying competition was the longest kite with 105 different colored kits in one lead brought by a group from Ahmadabad. The center of attraction amongst the children was the world’s smallest kite besides  Japanese and Indonesian Kites,  exhibited in the competition by professionals from Ahmadabad . The Leisure valley too witnessed the huge crowed of all ages to spend their weekend at maximum.  The Government College of Art Chandigarh has set up a workshop at Leisure Valley to provide tips on sketches and painting etc to the visitors as well as to the budding artists.  The Home Science College has put a stall where students are giving tips to people to wear attire as per their body types.  A variety of special plant exhibition has been put in the Leisure Valley had a special attraction for the visitors. The variety exhibited in cut flowers, Flowers and plants grown in pots section are Antirrhinum, Aster, Stocks Double, Stocks Single, Carnation, Candytuft, Dahila Double, Dahila PomPom, Sweet Peas, Gladiolus, Gerbera Double, Gerbera Single, Lupin, Larkspur, Marigold, Pansy, Verbena, Salvia, Brachycome, Cineraria, Carnation, Dahlia, Dianthus,Geranium, Kale, Nemesia, Nasturtium, Petunia Double Hybrid, Petunia Single Hybrid, Phlox, Rose Hybrid Tea, Rose Floribunda, Any other flower, Collection of different Foliage plants, Collection of Cacti, Collection of Succulents. The Tourism Department will organize a nite in which Priyani Vani, Sa-Re-Ga-Ma fame, Udhey Dahiya, Renowned Comedian will give a live performance including Dance performances by Rishika Kaushal & her troupe at Leisure Valley from 7:00 pm onwards. Tomorrow there will be Rose Quiz and On the spot painting competition at Ros Garden, followed by Prize distribution ceremony at 3.30 pm.In the evening Bollywood singer Mohit Chauahn will live performance at Leisure Valley. The passes of the musical events are available at Tourist Information Centre ,Sector 17. The results of Photography, Kite flying and Antakshi competitions are hence forth In the Photography , Professional category, the first prize was won by Suresh Kumar and second and third by Sunil Sharma ang Choginder Gupta and consolation prize  have been bagged by Arvind Singh, Jaspal Singh and Kapil Sethi. In Amateur Category the first prize to Sameer Kaushal whereas second and third position has been bagged by Madhup and Shilpa Sethi. In the consolation category Rohit Kwatra, Sourav Sharma and Bhaviya Batra. In Kite flying senior category, the  first and second position have been bagged by S.K Goyal and Naveen Sharma respectively  and consolation by Ankit whereas in junior Category, first position has been bagged by Rayan, second and third by Prabnool singh and Rohit respectively. In Antakshri competition , Dev samaj College for Educational Sector 36 bagged first position. Panjab University and GCG-11 bagged the second and third position respectively.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be really something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
