The new SUV Grand Vitara will be launched tomorrow
On September 26, Maruti Suzuki is going to launch its new SUV Grand Vitara. The company is going to offer the new Vitara with a mild hybrid powertrain option.
It will be sold through Maruti’s Nexa outlets. The Grand Vitara will be available for sale in 6 trims. The interior of the new Grand Vitara is going to get many features such as wireless charger, ambient lighting, integrated Google technology, ESP, hill-hold assist, tire pressure monitoring system, all-wheel disc brake and 6 airbags.
Apart from this, front grille, alloy in the exterior. Wheels and chrome treatment have been given. The new Grand Vitara will be developed on the same platform as the Toyota Hyder. And it will be given a 103hp, 1.5-litre K15C petrol mild-hybrid engine. For transmission, the engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Along with this, the option of 4 WD will also be given in it.
Regarding the Grand Vitara, the company is claiming that it provides better mileage of 27.97 kmpl. Maruti is going to introduce the new Vitara in the mid-size SUV segment, which will take on the already existing Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushak and Toyota Hyder in the market. Additionally, the Grand Vitara could also be powered by a 92hp, 3-cylinder, 1.5-litre petrol engine that will be mated to an electric motor. PCL/GT
