The Modi government has refused to restore the exemption given to the elderly on railway tickets. The Modi government clearly says that due to this, an additional expenditure of Rs 1636 crore was incurred in 2018-19. Rahul has tweeted and wrote that advertisements cost 911 crores, new airplane 8,400 crores tax exemption for capitalist friends, 145,000 crores / year but the government does not have 1500 crores to give exemption in rail tickets to the elderly.
