Tata AIG General’s Motor Training accredited by CII London

The Chartered Insurance Institute, London has recently awarded the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Accreditation to Tata AIG’s Auto Material Damage and Estimatics Training program (AMDET). This is the first Insurance Company Training Programme in India to be accredited by CII.

Tata-AIG conducts an in- house residential training programme Material Damage and Estimatics Training (AMDET) for Auto Engineers and other qualified people that aims to transform new hires in the Auto Insurance Claims vertical to Professional Claim Adjustors and Handlers , fulfilling the Company’s Mission of providing “Just and Fair” Settlements to its Customers.

Speaking about the workshop, K. K. Mishra, MD & CEO of Tata AIG said, “The primary objective of the AMDET workshop is in line with the National Skill development mission’s goal to fulfill the growing need in India for skilled manpower and narrow the existing gap between the demand and supply of skills.”

He further added, “We are pleased to be the first Indian Insurer honored with the CII London accreditation. We believe that our training workshop is one of our many initiatives exemplifying our emphasis on our Value of ‘Customer First’ in our operations.” The AMDET program led by in-house experts instruct the participants on wide ranging topics such as the anatomy of the vehicle, how to asses motor damage losses, accidental damages etc.
