Taipei : Tension has increased due to China’s increasing activities in Taiwan. Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense on Monday claimed to have spotted three Chinese military aircraft and six naval ships operating near its waters. At the same time, two Chinese aircraft have entered its south-western air defense identification zone.
As of 6 a.m. local time, three Chinese military aircraft and six Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy ships were detected, the ministry reported. The most worrying thing about this is that two Chinese planes had entered Taiwan’s south-western ADIZ.
Let us tell you that Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) is an area of airspace in which a country works to identify, locate and control aircraft in the interest of national security. Taiwan’s armed forces responded immediately by monitoring the activities and taking necessary precautions to protect Taiwan’s sovereignty and security.
