Swift nursing students excel in University Exams

INVC,, Delhi,, Students of Swift Institute of Nursing excelled in the recently held university examination. The results highlighted more than 50% students achieving more than 70% marks in B.Sc 1st year and 2nd year examination conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. Dr. Raman Kalia, Director/Principal, informed that students of Nursing institute are working in the  community and  campaigning  to create AIDS awareness in the nearby villages.The institute has adopted village Ghaggar sarai to disseminate the knowledge to the residents World Aids Day was also celebrated at the institute, keeping in mind the need to make the society aware about the disease & uproot the stigma associated with HIV- AIDS. A seminar was organized on the occasion, highlighting the role of nurse in diagnosing and treatment of Aids, Measures of prevention were discussed. Students participated in Poster making, Slogan Writing Competition on HIV/AIDS, and an Eloquition competition was conducted on the theme “Social Stigma about HIV in today’s Society”.  All the participants spoke actively and presented valuable information.
