Packed with essential nutrients and with multiple health benefits, they are nature’s precious gifts to humanity. We all know, how good seeds are for our health as they are rich in Omega 3,  antioxidants, zinc. But did you know there are actually many skin benefits as they protect cell membranes, helps maintain collagen, and promotes skin renewal

Chia Seeds- Chia seeds is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals, which will provide your skin with a glow, purity and natural care. They are also beneficial for hair, since they contain two important elements for hair growth: zinc and copper.

Face-  Use two teaspoons of chia seeds, half a cup of coconut oil, and one teaspoon of lemon juice and mix well. I like to add a few drops of bergamont and a drop of vitamin E for skin that is particularly dry. Let your mask set for a few minutes, then use a damp, lukewarm washcloth to remove using circular motions (this will gently exfoliate).

Hair- This hair gel is perfect for anyone with looser curls looking for a little extra hold and an excellent gel for styling braids. Mix one cup of water and four cups of chia seeds, then let the mixture sit overnight. The next day, heat it all up in a saucepan on medium heat for about 10 minutes and strain the chia seeds out. Finally, add a tablespoon of aloe vera to chia seed oil and mix vigorously with a whisk or a blender. Add a few drops of lavender oil to give your gel a nice scent and apply to damp locks.

Flax Seeds- Not only these seeds brings beauty but also have the healing and treatment properties like skin irritation, acne and other skin problems. Being rich in omega-3 fatty acids, flaxseeds effectively speed up the healing process in our body. This is further assisted by the strong anti-inflammatory properties of this seed.

Face Care- Applying a paste of grounded flax seeds with coconut oil or olive oil on the affected area can bring down the skin irritation, inflammation, rashes, and redness within a few uses.

For beautiful and glowing skin- Apply the mixture of 1 tablespoon grounded flaxseed and 1 egg to form a smooth paste. Apply this clear mask on your face and neck. Leave it on for at least 15 minutes. Wash the mask off using regular water.

Pumpkin Seeds- A good source of Vitamin E, zinc and manganese, pumpkin seeds also contain some types of hard-to-find antioxidants.

Face Care- Papaya seeds naturally brightens the skin, gets rid of dead skin cells and treats acne. and Honey Naturally exfoliates and moisturizes the skin. For face mask – Remove all seeds and small bits of papaya and keep in a bowl. Add one table spoon of organic honey. Add into blender and blend away till the seeds are in small pieces. Apply mixture all over skin and leave on for 20 minutes.
Rinse face and finish with your favorite moisturizer.
