Sriharikota. After the hard work of ISRO scientists, today Chandrayaan-3 has finally left for the moon. It was a historic moment for India, when Chandrayaan-3 is going to the moon to create history. The whole world was eyeing this mission of ISRO. Chandrayaan-3 was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota at 2:35 pm.

Watch live broadcast of Chandrayaan-3 like this

The launch of Chandrayaan-3 can be seen live on the official website of ISRO. Along with this, it will also be broadcast live on Doordarshan. Former ISRO director K Sivan told ANI that the success of mission Chandrayaan-3 will boost the morale of programs like Gaganyaan, India’s first human space mission. It is expected that Chandrayaan-3 can land on the lunar surface on August 23.

Chandrayaan-3 will find frozen ice on the south pole of the moon

No country has sent its mission to the Moon’s South Pole till date. If all goes well, Chandrayaan will create history by landing on the Moon’s South Pole. Most of the Moon’s south pole is always in darkness because sunlight does not reach there. The temperature at this place remains below minus 235 degrees. In such a situation, Chandrayaan-3 will search for frozen ice at this place.

The eyes of the world fixed on the mission

The eyes of the whole world are fixed on India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission. ISRO scientists have full hope that Chandrayaan-3 will get complete success this time. If the Chandrayaan-3 mission is successful, India will become the fourth country after the US, China and the erstwhile Soviet Union to have mastered soft landing on the Moon. The countdown for the launch of ‘Chandrayaan-3’ has started on Thursday itself at 25.30 hours and the moment is going to come soon, when Chandrayaan-3 will turn towards the moon. PLC/GT
