Strict action may be taken against

While directing various departments, which are not taking proper action on the complaints received at CM Window, the Project Director, Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associates Programme, Dr. Rakesh Gupta has directed such departments to take appropriate action on the pending cases at the earliest. He said that strict action may be taken against officers and officials, who show laxity towards redressal of complaints.

          Dr. Rakesh Gupta and OSD to Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupeshwar Dayal were presiding over meeting with Heads of Departments of Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran, Vigilance, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Transport, Social Justice and Empowerment, Development and Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies in connection with CM window, here today.

          He directed the departments to promptly redress grievances received at the CM Window. In view of lack of proper action by the authorities on pending complaints received under the Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department, Dr. Rakesh Gupta has directed to write a letter to the Additional Chief Secretary of the Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department to take appropriate action on pending cases within 15 days.

          Dr. Rakesh Gupta expressed his displeasure on not taking satisfactory action on three complaints of tax evasion received at CM window under the Transport Department and in this regard, directed to write a letter to the Additional Chief Secretary, Transport Department for disposal of pending cases soon.

          He directed to redress the pending cases of the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran within two weeks. Apart from this, he also issued strict directions to the officers of Vigilance, Social Justice and Empowerment, Development and Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies Departments and asked them improve their functioning.

          While issuing strict directions, Dr. Gupta said that the complaints should be disposed of soon, otherwise the departmental action may be taken against officials, who exercise negligence in work. He also directed the departments to properly upload the Action Taken Report on CM window.
