Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar was presented literary works by Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations Department Himachal Pradesh and renowned litterateur Gurmeet Bedi at Chandigarh last evening.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar said that the State Government is committed to the preservation and promotion of literature, art, culture and many platforms are being provided to encourage writers and artists. He said that it is a matter of pride that writers and litterateurs of the state are constantly contributing towards literature.
The Governor congratulated Gurmeet Bedi for winning awards at national and international level by writing in every genre of literature and expressed hope that he would continue to enrich the literary world with his writings in future also.
