Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji will always be remembered: Prof. Kaptan Solanki
INVC NEWS New Delhi, Haryana Governor, Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki said that the 350th Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj is being celebrated all across the country to inspire people of his sacrifice, valor and integrity. This was stated by Prof. Solanki on the occasion of Kirtan Darbar organised to celebrate the 350th Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj at Haryana Raj Bhavan, here today. Prof. Solanki said that Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji will always be remembered for the sacrifices made by him to safeguard the country and religion. He advised his father to sacrifice life for saving religion in a tender age of nine years and also sacrificed his sons later. Not only this, at the time of formation of Khalsa Panth, he chose five different persons from five different castes and made them ‘Panj Pyaras’ and gave out the great message of unity and integrity of the country. “If in current scenario, people get up for the sake of the country alike Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji then India would become that power of the 21st century, for which it is known for centuries”, said Prof. Solanki. On the occasion, the Governor also released a quarterly magazine entitled ‘Sangat Udghosh’ dedicated to 350th Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. Sant Baba Maan Singh Ji Maharaj said a recitation on the life of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Kirtan Darbar. Those present included Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Mr. Bakhshish Singh Virk, Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Mr Karan Dev Kamboj, MLA, Thanesar, Mr Subhash Sudha, BJP Chandigarh State President, Mr Sanjay Tandon and President, Rashtriya Sikh Sangat, Sardar Gurcharan Singh Gill.
