The Home Secretary found the children suffering from malnutrition, anemia and skin diseases in the Madarsa  Burail Faizul Islaam Burial at the time of inspection alongwith DPI(S). The Home Secretary visited the Madaras to find out the status of education and other schemes. It was a matter of concern that many of the students were suffering from anemia, dental and other diseases. The Home Secretary asked the DPI(S) to immediately organize special health check up camps for the Madarsa students and regular check up should be undertaken immediately. It was also ordered that the school health should maintain health checkup register of each and every students in the Madarsa. The Home Secretary also asked the DPI(S) to provide school bags to the students. He also asked him that the quantity of the Mid Day Meal should be increased in the school so that the students can get more nutrition. The Home Secretary also inspected Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Sector 45. The school has strength of 3900 students and there is hardly any space in the school for the students. The Home Secretary was informed that 13 rooms have been constructed but the possession is yet to be handed over to the school authorities. The Home Secretary asked the Chief Engineer to immediately hand over the possession of 13 rooms so that more space could be made available to the students. Inspection of school library school canteen. The Home Secretary directed that no carbonated drinks and exposed material should not be served to the students.

He also inspected the AIE centre being run at the school. He issued directions to DPI(S) to ensure that winter uniforms are made available to students well in advance. He also obtained the feedback from the students about the Mid Day Meal scheme.
