Snapdeal announces Pride of India sale

Snapdeal, India’s largest value-focused e-commerce marketplace, today announced the launch of its Independence Day sale with flavours of Indianness. Starting from August 9th, the sale will offer a wide selection of products from well-known Indian brands like Bombay Dyeing, Cello, Prestige, Skybags, Campus, and Boat. It also features a wide variety of emerging brands like Frion Kandy, Priyaasi, Ishin, and Callmate.


The highlight of the sale is flags made of seed paper that can be grown into tulsi. Quick Independence Day buys like tricolor mobile phone covers, badges and flags for car dashboards are also available at attractive price points.


The sale also has a huge variety of camouflage collection for men and women. Some popular selling apparel with slogans like ‘How’s the Josh’ have been added.


Popular selling sarees from Indian weaves like Bagalpuri, Banarsi, Chanderi, Ikat, Kanchipuram, among others are available at huge discounts.


Snapdeal has added many traditional Indian buys in its sale. Some of these include kurtis, beaded necklaces, traditional Jaipuri bedsheets, mixers, and copper utensils.  


Besides this, the sale has a special section on ‘Legends of India’ with a collection of inspiring stories of the likes of N.R. Narayana Murthy, Swami Vivekanand, Bhagat Singh, Sachin Tendulkar and A.P.J. Abdul Kamal.

The sale has 10% off on Bookmyshow vouchers and 7% off on MakeMyTrip vouchers for users to indulge in the Independence Day holiday.


During the sale, users can have fun shopping experience on Snapdeal with games like ‘Spin the Wheel’ and win special discounts or prices up to Rs 1 lakh.


While CitiBank users can avail additional 15% cashback, Bank of Baroda credit card users get an instant 15% discount.


This Independence Day, Snapdeal also allows its users to send Thank you box to soldiers through its “India Says Thank You” initiative. The box has a rakhi, photo frame, letter, and seed paper that grows into a plant.
