Commenting on this opportunity, Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (I/C) and Parliamentary Affairs said, “India has been heavily focusing on skill development for the last one year now, especially under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. It’s about time that we showcase our talent and skill to the world and validate the success of Skill India. We need to extend more such opportunities to the youth of the country, in order to inspire many others to come to the fore front, acquire a skill of their choice and add to their personal and country’s growth. Further, these opportunities provide individuals with a platform to engage with participants of other countries, helping them understand the values associated with their skills, globally. Moreover, the success of these participants could play a vital role in making skills aspirational for the youth of the country.”
“The event provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the talent of India’s youth at the International level and help them benchmark their skills to the global level. This will inspire the youth of India to learn a skill of their choice and improve their livelihood potential. I wish the very best to our team participating at UK Skills Show to bring laurels to the country.” said Mr. Jayant Krishna, CEO, NSDC.
