While accepting the long pending demand of people from Siwani area, Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has announced that the Siwani region will be included in Hisar district.
The Chief Minister was addressing the people during 68th State level Van Mahotsav at Siwani today.
For the past 21 years, people of Siwani town and surrounding villages were demanding their inclusion in Hisar district instead of Bhiwani, he added.
While accepting the demands put forth by BJP State Vice President JP Dalal, the Chief Minister said that special plan is being prepared in Loharu-Siwani area for water conservation, which will be implemented soon. He said that National level coaches and sports facilities will be provided at Bahal Stadium. Veterinary Hospital will be started in Siwani Gaushala. The Chief Minister announced Rs. 10 crores for development of villages of Loharu assembly constituency, and Rs. five crores for Loharu and Siwani Municipalities.
Mr Manohar Lal announced the construction of Ambedkar Bhawan in five villages and Gram Sachivalayas in 16 villages. He said that the sewerage facility would be provided to Bahal and Badwa villages under Mahagram Yojana. Agricultural lab will be set up for facilitating farmers in Bahal and Loharu.
Two Railway Under Bridge will be constructed in Nagla and Baralu villages between Rewari and Sadlpur railway line. He announced the construction of two fire brigade stations in Siwani and Loharu. He announced the start of postgraduate classes from next year in Siwani’s Seth Meghraj Jindal College. He also approved all the roads constructed by Marketing Board.
He said that Southern Haryana region would avail maximum benefit after the completion of construction of big water projects such as Renuka Dam, two dams in Uttarakhand, the water in SYL and Hansi-Butana Canal.
Forests Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Member of Parliament Mr Dharambir  Singh, CPS Dr Kamal Gupta, MLA Mr  Ghanshyam Saraf and others were also present on this occasion.
