Shivraj V Patil redresses 34 complaints out of 45
Chandigarh, April 5: Giving sympathetic hearing to all the 45 complaints appeared in Public Hearing Session today, the Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Mr. Shivraj V. Patil, disposed off most of the complaints on the spot and remaining have been marked to the concerned departments for comments.
Taking serious note of the complaint made by Chandigarh Auto Rickshaw Union regarding replacement of Diesel fuel used Auto Rickshaw with LPG used Auto Rickshaw, Mr. Patil asked the officers that why only Auto Rickshaw were converted into LPG and emphasized that there should be a proper policy for all types of vehicles. He assured the Chandigarh Auto Rickshaw Union that their request will be sympathetically examined and difficulties will be resolved.
Responding to the complaints of Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur of village Palsora for causing mental torture and harassment to her by the neighbours, Mr. Patil asked IGP, Mr. Srivastava to do the needful at the earliest.
Mr. Dinesh Kumar made complaint that booths in Sector 22, Rehri Market were allotted to rich and ineligible persons. Giving patient hearing to Mr. Dinesh, Mr. Patil asked him to give names of those ineligible persons, so that he could get it examined from the concerned department.
Mr. Patil asked Secretary Finance to extend all possible help from Red Cross to Mr. Rajesh Kumar who made humble request for financial assistance to save his life from chronic diseases of renal failure.
In another complaint Mr. Shyam Lal of Pathankot requested to help in tracing out his minor daughter who was kidnapped. Since, this case falls in Punjab State, Mr. Patil asked Mr. M.P. Singh Secretary to Governor, Punjab to forward his case to concerned officer for quick action.
Mr. Nanha Ram requested for the allotment of Licence of Rehri Market in Sector 26. Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Secretary Finance informed Mr. Patil that he would be adjusted in Apni Mandi as it was not possible to allot licence for 26 Rehri Market.
