Sheroes summit celebrates phenomenal impact of counseling, creative, commerce communities for women

New Delhi , After putting together a successful show across cities, the 6th edition of SHEROES, the women’s community platform(accessible via Sheroes.com and the SHEROES app) will host its 5th and the last chapter in New Delhi on Sept 12 at The Eros, New Delhi. This year, the platform brings its core online communities – Careers, Love, Sex & Relationships, Health, Bazaar, Cooking and Arts & Crafts, to name a few, into the Summit arena. Women makers from the SHEROES community will showcase their products at the venue, and early adopters of the SHEROES app, which recently crossed one million downloads, will share their growth stories in a community panel. The Delhi edition of the Summit also brings together power women building constructive communities to celebrate their game-changing impact on the women’s growth story. The keynote will be delivered by Alicia Castillo Holley, Silicon Valley angel investor and founder of the “Women Get Funded” programme, brought to India by SHEROES. A specially curated “Women in MarTech” panel,featuring Som Mittal, Former President and Chairman, NASSCOM, Priya Krishnan, CEO, KLAY Prep Schools & DayCare, Shweta Jain, Head of Sales - Luxury, DIAGEO and Elizabeth Venkataraman, Executive VP, Marketing, Kotak Mahindra Bank discuss the influence of tech and marketing on the women’s narrative. Activist and author Gurmehar Kaur will share her take-charge story, and Arush Chopra, CEO, Just Herbs, will host a special session ‘Beauty in You’. A highlight of the day is a specially curated community panel featuring RJ Stutee (Fever 104 FM), Swarnima Bhattacharya (TheaCare), Vertika Shukla (CodeSharp), Shalini Sharma (Mumyu), Namita Jain (KLAYSchools) and Kanika Khybri (Mommy Speaks). The five city summit, which was hosted in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and Trivandrum in partnership with Digital Transformation Solutions company UST Global, KLAY Prep Schools& Daycare, Diageo and Kotak Mahindra Bankwill conclude in New Delhi. In this edition of the Summit we have also curated some very unique opportunities for community members, along with our partners, weaving in tech, entrepreneurship and finance, into the Summit narrative.” Yoga instructor Jenil Dholakia opens the day with meditative singing bowls, while Sonam Kalra& The Sufi Gospel Project closes the day on a spiritual note. In addition to this, audience will also witness engaging performances byslam poet Navaldeep Singh,and percussionist Tarit Pal. At the venue, KLAY Prep Schools & DayCare will host crèche-in-a-box training workshops for women looking to start up their own crèches, to help meet the rising demand for crèches, post amendments to the Maternity Act. To make the event more inclusive for mothers in the SHEROES community, KLAY will set up an onsite crèche, where kids will be meaningfully engaged, while their moms can attend all activities and talks, at the venue.
