Honorable Member of Parliament Shri Shashi Tharoor will launch author Avalok Langer’s book ‘In Pursuit of Conflict’, published by Westland—on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 7pm at Oxford Bookstores, Connaught Place, New Delhi.
The book ‘In Pursuit of Conflict’ is a young journalist’s diary on what ails the Northeast. It documents, the never-seen-before exclusive interviews with retired separatist leaders, the drug cartels, illegal taxation system and brings to the forefront the daily torture of living in a region which is so cut-off from the mainstream.
Join us for an evening of immersive literary experience as the launch will be followed by a discussion on the book between the author Avalok Langer, Shashi Tharoor, Honorable Member of Parliament and Seema Mustafa, Editor -in -Chief of The Citizen.
