In view of the Lok Sabha elections, the second phase of the meeting of the opposition parties involved in the exercise of the Grand Alliance will now be held in Bengaluru. Earlier it was said that the meeting would be held in Shimla, but now NCP chief Sharad Pawar has announced to change the venue of the meeting. He has informed that the meeting will be organized in Bengaluru on 13 and 14 July.

Addressing a press conference in Pune, Sharad Pawar targeted the BJP and said that it cannot live without being in power. BJP leaders in the state are desperate to stay in power. He along with Ajit Pawar targeted BJP’s Fadnavis government and said that the swearing-in ceremony with Ajit Pawar in the morning had made it clear that BJP can go with anyone to stay in power. That’s what I wanted to prove and it proved. You can call it mine trap or whatever.

It is up to you to decide. In fact, Devendra Fadnavis has targeted Sharad Pawar, referring to the political developments in Maharashtra in 2019. He has alleged that after the election results in 2019, some people from NCP contacted him and said that they are ready to form a stable government. Then a meeting was held with Sharad Pawar regarding this and it was decided that the government would be formed. All power was given to me and Ajit Pawar. But in the midst of preparations for swearing in, Sharad Pawar took back his decision. Then, along with Ajit Pawar, I took the oath early in the morning.

The first meeting was held in Patna on June 23

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar while addressing the press conference had said that everyone has decided to contest the elections together. The next meeting next month will finalize it. Seat sharing will be discussed in the second meeting. Agreed to go together. The next meeting will decide who will fight where. Those who are in governance are not working in the interest of the country. They are all changing history.

The second meeting was fixed in Shimla on July 12.

Then during the press conference Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had said that we are meeting again in Shimla on July 12, in which we will prepare a common agenda. We have to work differently in each state. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi said that BJP and RSS are attacking the foundation of India. This is a fight of ideology and we stand together. We have decided that we will work together and defend our common ideology. It is the process of opposition unity that will go ahead. ( PLC/GT )
