In a letter to Sh. Kaptan Singh Solanki, Administrator of Chandigarh, Sh. Jain made these demands. He also sent a copy of the Memorandum submitted to him by the Residential Welfare Society Sector 45 in a public protesting rally held in Sector 45 on December 27th, 2015, in this regard to the Administrator along with the letter.
Sh. Jain said that the allottees of residential houses of the Chandigarh Housing Board, during the last 15-20 years have made internal changes in their houses keeping in view the increasing demands of their family members. All these changes are within their own premises and not on the Government land. He said that in view of this, the Chandigarh Housing Board should regularise these Need Based changes instead of raising objections to them.
Sh. Jain also said that it would be better if the Officers of Chandigarh Administration call a joint meeting of the Officers of the Chandigarh Housing Board as well as the representative of the allottees of the residential houses by the Chandigarh Housing Board and find a permanent solution to this problem, so that the allottees can live their lives without any tension, fear or provocation situations.
