The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday took a dig at the Congress, saying that to come to power, the Congress pretends to be ‘Hindu’ friendly and its leader even refers to Rahul Gandhi as ‘Ram’, whereas after getting power, he Hindus become ‘terrorists and Boko Haram’. BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi has said these things in response to the statement of former Union Minister AK Antony in which he said that Congress needs the support of the Hindu community to defeat the BJP.
Responding to Antony’s statement, BJP spokesperson Trivedi said that it has become clear from the statement of the senior Congress leader that the Congress believes that Muslims are with it, to bring Hindus together, then do any kind of deceit or farce. Will happen and for him Hindu-Muslim are just votes or a ladder to power.
Trivedi said that it is clear from this that Congress pretends to be a Hindu to come to power and after coming to power it conspires to prove Hindus as terrorists. Referring to some previous statements of some senior Congress leaders like Mani Shankar Aiyar, Shashi Tharoor and Salman Khurshid, he said that after coming to power, Congress is ‘sometimes Hindu Taliban, sometimes Pakistan and sometimes Boko Haram’ but to come to power Rahul Gandhi is Ram.
In fact, in the past, Congress leader Salman Khurshid had compared Rahul Gandhi to Lord Ram. Boko Haram is an Islamic terrorist organization based in Nigeria.
Not only this, BJP spokesperson Trivedi also hit back at the Congress for Khurshid’s statement in which he allegedly said that Mallikarjun Kharge has been made Congress president only for work, while the real leader is the ‘Gandhi family’. Trivedi said, ‘It is clear from this that Kharge ji is just a mask and not a face. Congress has put one face on top of another.
She is trying to cheat people by wearing a mask. He said that Khurshid’s statement has made it clear that whether Manmohan Singh is to be made the Prime Minister or Mallikarjun Kharge is to be made the President, the Gandhi family cheats not only the country but also the Congress workers.
