Kiev. Ukraine has claimed to have conspired to attack the nuclear plant on Russia. Ukraine’s military intelligence unit has claimed, without providing any evidence, that Russia is plotting an attack on a nuclear facility in the south of the country it currently controls. A statement issued by the Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry claimed that Russian forces would attack Europe’s largest Zaporizhia nuclear plant and then report radioactive leaks, prompting an international investigation. It was said by the directorate that Russia would do this to end the war, so that its forces would have the time they needed to regroup before counterattacking.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) told The AP in an emailed response that it had no immediate comment on the allegations and that Russian officials have not commented on the Ukrainian claims. Russia on Saturday informed about more attacks on its soil. According to the information, there has been shelling on the border Russian areas of Ukraine.

Mikhail Vedernikov from Pskov said two drones struck an oil company administrative building in Russia’s western Pskov region, which borders Belarus, Latvia and Estonia. Local officials said another drone went down in the Tver region, about 150 kilometers (90 miles) north of Moscow.
