Rittal invests in future market India

During the 50th Rittal anniversary celebrations at Bangalore, Helmut Binder, Executive Vice President Sales at Rittal’sheadquarters in Herborn and responsible for Asia, Pacific, Middle East & Africa said “Rittal plans to reach an annual turnover of € 3 billion worldwide by the end of 2015. In order to achieve this ambitious growth target, one of our main goals is to keep on growing in the boom region of India”.

“India is a very important future market for us. For this reason, we are going to step up our investments in production and in our warehouses based in Bangalore, New Delhi and Pune,” explained Mr. Binder. To this end, the finished goods warehouse in Bangalore, for instance, will be extended to 5,400 square metres.

Rittal’s growth strategy for the Indian sub-continent involves extending its business relations with a large number of local customers and launching new products using its high tech production site in Doddaballapur.

At the same time, the company plans to win over new partners and to boost direct sales. In line with its goal, the company will launch campaigns in a bid to win business from prospective customers in the fields of renewable energies, power, food and beverages, pharma, oil and gas, the machine tool and automotive industry as well as in the data center market.

Under the umbrella “Rittal – The System.”, Rittal provides customers with a range of solutions that lend themselves to all kinds of industry-specific installations. This range covers a plethora of products and services: from enclosures to power distribution and climate control through to IT infrastructures and software.

A demo bus that showcases the comprehensive range of products will be shortly available and was officially inaugurated on 04 November 2011. This “trade fair stand on wheels” gives customers an overview of the entire product range: from enclosures to climate control and power distribution through to IT infrastructure. It is intended to act as a tangible hub where existing and potential customers can discover the benefits of “Rittal – The System.”

Christoph Caselitz, Chief of Customer Operations at Rittal’s headquarters in Germany, officially inaugurated the new demo bus at Doddaballapur. It was handed over officially on 04 November 2011 to the Rittal at the occasion of the anniversary celebrations.
